Palácio de Monserrate - Monserrate Palace is one of the most impressive architectural creations in Portugal. Built in the style of Romanticism with Mudéjar Moorish inspired details, and surrounded by a large park featuring a lake, springs and fountains, it is no surprise that this exotic villa was the traditional summer resort of the Portuguese court.
