By booking any activity or trip by Associação International Life Lisboa, you declare that you have read and accepted the Terms and Conditions, and no exceptions to the terms and conditions will be applied nor given.
The membership fee is non refundable.
Associação International Life Lisboa is not responsible for illness, damage caused, lost items, or injuries during or after our events. If a student causes any damage to other person’s property or themselves, the customer is responsible for paying the damages.
When a member makes a reservation/booking, they are obligated to fill out an online form in which they indicate which trip or event they will be participating in, along with the date of that event or trip. It is the responsibility of the student to enter the correct information in the online form.
If a student misses, is forced to cancel, or is refused on a trip or event due to an error on the date or any other information entered in the online form, the Cancellation Policy of the Associação International Life Lisboa will be enforced and no exceptions will be given.
Student Trip/Event Cancellation Policy
Associação International Life Lisboa is not responsible for nor will give refunds for any trip cancellations due to illness, strikes, acts of terrorism, poor weather conditions, war, or any sudden, uncontrolled events.
Students who cancel their reservations up to 10 business days prior to the departure date of the excursion will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid if they present the receipt given (in case the event or trip were paid by card, students need to present that receipt also). Students who cancel their reservations 10 days or less prior to the departure date will receive no refund under any circumstances**. The trips to Algarve, Trip to Porto, Trip to Spain and Boat party have to be cancelled 15 business days before.
Associação International Life Lisboa is not responsible for nor will give a refund if a member should not show up on the day of the trip, whether it be due to sudden illness, error in entering date in the online form, poor weather conditions, war, acts of terrorism, strikes, or any other uncontrolled events.
All members must notify in writing or via email if they want to cancel a trip or event.
**Instead of cancelling, students will always be given the option to give his place to another member until 1 week before the trip or venture departure is required. If this is the case, it is mandatory to inform the office to change the tickets.
Associação International Life Lisboa/Event Cancellation/Date Change Policy
If Associação International Life Lisboa must change the date of an event for whatever reason, the event will be scheduled for a later date FREE of charge. If a student who previously booked for that event cannot attend on the new date, they will receive a 100% refund as long as they notify Associação International Life Lisboa Staff within 72 hours of the cancellation notification and present the receipt given on the purchase of the event/trip (in case the event or trip were paid by card, students need to present that receipt also). If Associação International Life Lisboa receives no notification from the student, they are automatically assumed willing and able to attend the new date and the regular cancellation policy will be applied to the new date.
Student Trip Date Changes
Trip or event date changes are allowed with 5 business days or more notice before the departure date free of any extra charges. There are NO refunds on date changes if the student later decides to cancel. The regular cancellation policy does not apply.
Reimbursement of trips cancelled by Erasmus Life Lisboa
Refunds must be collected within 1 week of refund confirmation by Associação International Life Lisboa management. After that, the refund will be cancelled and no exceptions will be given.
Itinerary is subject to change at any moment on the trips or during the events if unavoidable or beyond our control. Changes may include, but are not limited to, delays in transportation due to poor weather or traffic, changes in hotel by tour operator, changes by the bus company or changes in order of visits and tours.
Associação International Life Lisboa is not responsible for personal travel not included in our combined trips such as connections to origin cities. Associação International Life Lisboa is not responsible for, nor will refund, any costs of personal travel due to the aforementioned itinerary changes that may occur on our trips or events, or for any other reason.
Accommodation on combined overnight trips will be in a variation of double/triple/quadruple or higher occupancy. Sharing double beds may be necessary. A supplement charge will be applied for individual rooms and in some cases double rooms depending on the trip. Supplement charges vary.
If a traveller books a trip alone and prefers to stay with another student in order to avoid the supplement charge, we will try our best to place that traveller in a room with others, however, it is not guaranteed, and in the case that we cannot, that student is obligated to pay the supplement charge for an individual room. That student will not be allowed on the trip until the supplement has been paid and the cancellation policy will be applied if they decide to cancel.
Associação International Life Lisboa will always do its best to accommodate special requests such as rooming, bus numbers, special meals, etc. However, special requests are not guaranteed at any moment.
Promotions and Sale Offers
1. Promotions and sales are launched within certain date periods and are only available for Associação International Life Lisboa members. The special promotion prices will not be available before nor after the start and end date stated. If there is no end date stated, the promotion will expire one month after the launch date.
2. Multiple Trip Promotions are promotions where the student receives discounts for booking multiple trips. If a cancelation is made for one or more of the trips originally purchased in a multiple trip promotion, the refund will be cost of the trip minus the amount saved with the discount.
2.1. In order to receive the discount for the Multiple Trip Promos, trips must be purchased the same day or within 7 days of each other unless stated otherwise by Associação International Life Lisboa Management. If the activity or trip is purchased outside of sale/promo period, no discount will be given.
All taxes are included in base price of all trips and events.
Associação International Life Lisboa usually hires photographers to take pictures of our events and parties, holding the rights to all pictures taken during our events. By participating in our events you are waiving all rights regarding the usage of these pictures. The same pictures can be posted online on our website or facebook page and can be used for the production of promotional material of the association.
Most EU citizens do not need passports to travel on our trips. They may travel with their country´s ID card. Please ask the Associação International Life Lisboa staff to confirm that your ID card is valid to travel with. Passports and/or ID cards must be valid and up to date.
Certain nationalities are required to get a visa apart from just their passport for certain trips. If you are not sure if you need a visa, please ask us. Associação International Life Lisboa is not responsible for any problems that may occur at customs due to an invalid or outdated passport, ID card, or visa. Any fees that incur due to these issues will be paid for by part of the student and not Associação International Life Lisboa.
If you have been in the chain of contact of somebody who has tested positive with Covid19 it is your civil duty to report it to Associação International Life Lisboa and as well as Direção Geral de Saude - GDS, the portuguese health authority which you can reach by calling the number 808242424 and follow their instructions.
Ticket holders that have been in the chain of contact of somebody with COVID19 in less than 15 days will not be allowed to participate in our events for the following 15 days or until presenting a negative covid19 test. A refund will not be issued for any event due to this reason.
Ticket holders will pass by a temperature check at the entrance of each event, in case your temperature is 37.5Cº or above you will not be allowed to enter the event for the safety of all participants and no refund will be issued. We recommend you will call the national healthline and follow instructions.
