Small files.
Clear choices.
This policy explains how Erasmus Life Lisboa uses cookies and similar browser technologies. The Meta Pixel is available for advertising measurement, but it remains disabled until you actively allow marketing technologies.
Scope & controller
This policy applies to the Erasmus Life Lisboa website. The responsible organisation is Associação International Life Lisboa, operating the Erasmus Life Lisboa brand.
Travessa da Cara 14, 1200-089 Lisboa, Portugal

Cookies we use
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. First-party cookies are set by this website; third-party cookies are controlled by an external service.
Strictly necessary storage is used only to provide the choice you requested and does not require consent. Meta Pixel and its marketing cookies stay off unless you enable the Marketing category.
Your consent choices
Optional technologies are off before a choice is made. The notice provides equally direct options to accept all or reject optional technologies, plus category-level settings. Refusing optional cookies does not restrict access to the website.
- Consent must be freely given, informed, specific and expressed through a clear action.
- Silence, continued browsing or pre-ticked boxes are not treated as consent.
- You can withdraw or change your choice at any time through the “Cookie settings” control.
- Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that lawfully occurred before withdrawal.
External services & links
If you allow marketing technologies, this website loads Meta Pixel, operated in the European Region by Meta Platforms Ireland Limited. Pixel ID 1601518051407985 records page visits and may receive the page URL, referrer, event time, browser and device information, IP-derived information and Meta cookie identifiers. Meta uses this information for advertising measurement, audience creation and ad delivery under its own terms and privacy information.
See Meta’s Cookies Policy and Privacy Policy for details and Meta account controls. You can also review industry opt-out options at Your Online Choices.
The website also links to services such as 3cket, Linkshield, WhatsApp, Instagram and TikTok. When you open an external website, that provider may use its own cookies or collect technical information under its own policies. Erasmus Life Lisboa does not control cookies placed on those external sites.
How to manage cookies
Use the “Cookie settings” button displayed at the bottom of every page to review, change or withdraw your choice. Turning Marketing off immediately stops new Meta Pixel events from this website and removes the first-party Meta cookies that the site can access. You can also remove or block cookies through your browser settings.
Deleting cookies may reset your saved preference and cause the notice to appear again. Blocking all cookies may also prevent the website from remembering your choice.
Legal framework
This approach is designed around the EU ePrivacy rules, Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Portuguese Law no. 41/2004. Optional access to or storage of information on a device relies on prior consent. Strictly necessary storage used to provide a service requested by the visitor is exempt from that consent requirement.
For more information, consult the European Data Protection Board’s consent guidance and the Portuguese Data Protection Authority (CNPD).
Updates & contact
We may update this policy when the website, its providers or legal requirements change. The latest version and update date will always be published on this page.
Questions about cookies or these controls can be sent to info@erasmuslifelisboa.com. You may also contact or lodge a complaint with the CNPD regarding data-protection matters.
